Documents, photographs, and objects, that tell the story of ski- jumping and of the site of Le Praz where this sport was practiced since the 1930s. A ski-jump had found its place above the Croisette in the new resort of Courchevel 1850, and many contests were organised for the public’s delight.In the end,the resort hosted the ski-jumping and Nordic combined events during the 1992 Olympic Games. A venue with 2 ski-jumps (90 and 120 metres) was built for the event,it has been made durable and 2 other ski-jumps (60 and 25 metres) were added to make it the first site in France.
From 10.00am to 5.00pm, from Monday to Saturday and on training Sundays
Free entry.
